sometimes i wonder, is it me? or is it sometimes time passes so fast that you barely have time to think before the week is over. but sometimes, time passes so slowly, the seconds seem like years. tick tock tick tock. and then i realised, when you start noticing the time, it passes really slowly.

how do we measure time? by looking at the clock? who defines what is 1 minute? what is an hour?

anyway, many things have happened over the past weeks. baby came back! :D :D  it seems just like yesterday when he left for japan, but i really dont want to have to go through that again. the feeling was overwhelming when i knew he was coming back. (:

and. wordpress is totally not letting me upload photos. >:( is anyone facing the same problem as me?

yayyy. tiffy’s bday party was on sunday and pictures are on facebook! hahahaha. we went early to help her decorate and the balloons just kept bursting and bursting or flying away. totally wasted our effort. hahaha. anyway, music was blasting and the weather was getting more and more humid cos it was held in the middle of the day, that i felt quite stuffy. ahhahaa. but enjoyable of course! taking polaroids with tiffy, polaroids are cute! :D with the hello kitty decoration on the frame of the film. hahaha. (: happy 21st tiffy!

anyway, cut bangs when i went to jap, and was trying a new hairstyle that day! tadaaa ~

bought the vest in japan too! hahahhaa. (:

school’s kinda sian cos of several reasons, one being chenboon is not in the same class as me once again. wells, at least we managed to meet up for lunch today. (: second being, i feel quite alone in class. shan’t say why. hahaha. third and most importantly being, baby’s not back. ):

let’s call this group “S” and this other person “R” if not later they come and sue me.

so happens, i received a text on monday to collect shirts for my club from this place far from where i am. S’s people even called to confirm that i was going down to collect.

so i rushed to collect my people’s sizes and arranged with EVERYONE to come and collect the shirts because they were supposed to wear it to support S’s event today and tomorow.

and yesterday, i went down all the way with a friend to collect, and this is what happened.

me: im here to collect the shirts

R: ohhh the shirts are not here yet

me: HUH?!

R: yeah. they’ll only come tomorow, so you can collect tmr.

and R disappeared to do other stuff. R is from S by the way.

like what’s with the attitude? hello. you guys bothered to call everyone to confirm that they’re coming to collect the shirts, and then people make the effort to come down, and you guys dont even bother to call to inform when the shirts are OBVIOUSLY not ready for collection.

so then i had to call every single one of my people to not come down.

so today, i went down AGAIN.

me: we’re here to collect the shirts

guy A: ohh do you have a list?

me: ohh no, but we got the sizes for our people

so the guy was going to give the shirts already. then R comes in,

R: ohh you’re supposed to collect for yourself only

me: HUH?

R: cos we haven recorded and packed the shirts yet.

me: so we can’t collect for our people?

R: no. they can come and collect themselves if they want.

me: eh i was going to pass it to them later cos they’re not free

R: they can come here right?

me: so when will it be packed?

R: tonight? the shirts wont run away.

and R again disappeared. LIKE WHAT?!

you guys are the ones that insisted we come down and collect for our people and then you dont bother to call when the shirts aren’t here. you know people will come for them and yet you let them make a wasted trip. why in the first place get them down?

and whats with the attitude man?

who cares about the damn shirt. it can run away for all i care. people are making effort to support your events and cooperate so your event can be successful. and you? give some sort of attitude.

esp R, acting like some arrogant snob, just because you’re in S doesn’t mean you’re more superior. you’re just another student  like everyone else. we dont need S to manage us, whatever you’re “managing” belongs to US and you’re, in simple words, just in a CCA. you’re NOBODY’s boss.

if you want respect, support and cooperation, you’ve got to earn it lady.

and keep clear of my way. im not going to trust your words anymore, because i dont want to make wasted trips or let my people make wasted trips.

this is just about basic courtesy.

22nd dec

touchdown! :D took an express train by myself to shinagawa cos baby had his last day of lessons! my heartbeat was increasing at a rate of 1000 times per minute. could barely fall asleep on the train though i was tired from the traveling because i was so eggcited! it has been 3 months plus since i last saw him. ): the long wait is finally coming to an end. (: when i got off the train, the cool whiff of wind just hit into me. so cold! the platform was so looooong and i was at one end. so i started walking to the middle and i can never describe the emotions i felt when i saw baby running towards me through all that crowd. :D after so long, nothing has changed. (:

so we went for dinner after stuffing the luggage into the locker at the train station. feeling my hand warmly snug in his was so right, it was like a dream. (: couldn’t stop smiling and for a while, there were so many things i wanted to tell him that i didn’t know where to start! :D

so we headed to TSUKISHIMA, for some very good monjayaki! :D its like okonomiyaki, just that its much nicer! it was a d.i.y thing but the man was really friendly and helped us cooked ours because we had totally no idea to do it! i love the shop, its small but so cosy, only thing is the whiff of second hand smoke floating around now and then. hahaha. (:

after that was home sweet home for some restt! :D

23rd dec

up after a good night’s rest and packed for our trip to the north! :D managed to stuff eveything into 1 bag cos we figured we’ll buy more clothes along the way. HAHAHA. (:

off we headed to some famous soba shop! took a while to find it but it didn’t matter cos i loved the walk with baby. (: the soba was actually nothing very fantastic so we were slightly disappointed. hahhaa. then we headed to SHINJUKU! got distracted by uniqlo and overtimed there! hahahhaa cos baby wanted to try for the lucky lottery ticket that you would get when you spend 5000 yen. so we spent loads of time up and down the 4 levels of uniqlo getting things! and in the end we didn’t win anything. but it was fun. (:

headed off for some sushiiiii and the salmon slice is huge. even bigger and thicker than the previous shop we went to in my last trip! :D after that, headed to catch the night bus to our next destination!

night bus ride was slightly looong and made our bums ache! the journey started at 11pm, and we had breaks every 2 hours at 1 am and 3 am. hahaha. trying to sleep was the biggest problem and my cute baby went to drink TEA and couldn’t sleep for a long while. hahahhaha. (:

24th dec

xmas eve and we reached ZAO at 6 plus am. hahaha. nearly froze when we jumped off the bus. it was so cold! and the whole place was covered in snow. walking was difficult with the snow thick on the roads. ran to shelter while baby called the hotel people to pick us up. hahahhaa. the whole wait was the longest though i think it was only about 10 mins. cos it was so damn cold!!!

so then we left our luggage with the hotel and put on some more clothes before heading to explore the town! (: the hotel people are so nice, they offered to send us whereever we were going! so we headed to the top of the mountain cos baby wanted to check out the ski stuff, to see if we could ski! i was quite dubious about it cos i haven really skiied in my whole lifee! hahaha. the town in really small and it seems like everyone knew everyone, it was really nice, the town and all. (:

in the end i was hungry, so we headed off to family mart (our friendly convenience store that is everywhere in japan and sells fried chickee! ) to grab some food before deciding whether or not to ski. the man wanted to wait for us and drive us back to the hotel, but we insisted he head back first cos we haven confirm our plans yet. hahaha so after a while of insisting by us, he headed back and we decided to just explore the town cos we were quite tired! (: went ard trying to find a good onsen place to try! we scouted our every single onsen place and in the end stopped at a nice little restaurant for lunch and back to the hotel for resttt! :D

the room was really big and cool! :D its like as big as a 3 room flat. best part was the exploring of the town, i loved it. the walking along the town, throwing snowballs at each other and just having fun. (: just the both of us. :D

thenn we went ONSEN and off to a POWER dinner at the hotel. zomg. the dinner is like 13 course?!?!?! when i saw first saw the food on the table, i thought it was okay and not as much as baby said it would be, but then he told me theres more to come! zomg and in the end those on the table initially is like only 5 courses out of 13. and i stupidly asked for rice. HAHAHA. well the food is really good and theres so much food! so much variety in small amounts but they add up to so much. i was so afraid of the door opening and the man coming in with more food! xD

by the time i reached dessert, i was so relieved and so full i didn’t finish dessert but i must say again, the food is really really good! :D

25th dec

CHRISTMASSS!!! :D 1 reason why baby chose ZAO is cos the chance of it snowing there is the highest, and we wanted to see it snowing together, but pity it didn’t snow when we were there. ):

so then we checked out and moved off to YAMAGATA! :D couldn’t decide what to do cos we were quite tired and we couldn’t check in yet, so we watched a movie! :D some ladies discount thing plus some student discount, we got the tickets at a cheap price! watched NODAME CANTABILE and its good! though i could barely understand anything cos it was in jap, but the music and orchestra playing is super the good. stir the emotions man. hahaa. (:

and guess what? the cinema in japan, has no ticket man standing outside to tear stubs! zomg. hahaha everybody just goes in by themselves and find their own seats. ZOMG. me and baby were amused lah. but this is japan, i guess they all go by the rules. hahahaha!

after that, baby bought me a necklaceeee! :D :D lovesss.

off to rest and then exploring the town at night! i went out myself abit in the afternoon cos baby wasn’t feeling too good and had to get through his domestic stuff so he asked me to go out and walk around and get some stuff. hahaha. it was eggciting but together is better (:

26th dec

OHH it snowed when we were having breakfast in the lounge! and we just stared at it through the window. (:

after that, trained to SENDAI! :D

this place is good. cheap shopping and good food! :D headed off to IZUMI premium outlet mall and shopped around! (: it was really quite cold but the stuff there are quite expensive and we didn’t buy much. hahaha.

after that, went to another station, HIRODOSHI if i didn’t remember wrongly. its a WHOLE street of shopping. hahaha and assorted stuff! hahahaha walked up and down that long street to find something to eat but we couldn’t decide. poor baby was so hungry and we gave up and went back to the hotel, and ate somewhere near the hotel, which was good too! baby missed out on his favourite foie gras cos he was too hungry and ordered too fast. hahahha. (:

27th dec

we traveled to a nearby town, MATSUSHIMA. the scenery is so pretty! :D the islands, the red bridge and the trees. hahaha. and the DUCKS! :D there were so many of them cos a small boy was feeding them prawn crackers. hahaha. (: baby tried to feed them roasted corn that we were eating but they spit it out. HAHAHHA. zomg so cute lah.

this place is good for its fresh oysters! baby had many of them, along the way to the fish market, at the fish market, and along the way back! hahaha. i had a roasted squid! its good. but too much till i got a little tired of it at the end. haaha and cos of the cold weather, the squid got cold really quickly. hahahhaa.

i like this place, its nice and peaceful and has a good scenery! :D

off to another outlet mall called MATSUI. there’s more stuff here so we shopped abit before having dinner at the japanese food court! ahahaha. zomg they are so damn high tech! after you order, they give you this beeper thing, and you can go to your seat. when the food is ready, the beeper will ring and you just go to the stall to collect! woah save us from the standing around waiting. (: and then i realised, all the food courts are like that!!

28th dec

this is the HUGE shopping day. at this shopping mall called E BEANS. they have loads of nice pretty stuff at low prices and so we spent almost the whole day there! hahahaha. and around the street tooo. shopping shopping!

29th dec

i got my hair cut! :D

off we head to YOKOHAMA, which is back in tokyo. (:

bused back again, but the only plus point is cos baby’s with me. (:

30th dec

packed and off to a road trip! with baby, his friend and his friend’s girlfriend. we rented a car and his friend drove. we drove all day and reached MATSUMOTO in the evening.

there wasn’t much time left for the day, so we just dinnered and walked around abit.

31st dec

off to the ski resort! :D its really cold and it started to snow along the way all the way to the resort and the resort was on top of a mountain and the car didn’t have enough power to go up the slope! so we got stuck at the foot of the mountain with a few other vehicles and baby had to get out of the car and push it so his friend could get the car moving again. ):

in the end, we parked somewhere else and got the hotel guy to pick us up. HAHAHA. so after all the checking in, we decided we would rest before dinner. dinner was so so, and the room was so cold! there was something wrong with the heater, and the room wasn’t warm enough so we wore jackets to sleep! roars.

after dinner, we went down to pick up the car and go shopping at JUSCO. hahahha didn’t really see much, just walked around and baby tried on many many shoes! hahaha. (:

after that, we decided to try to get the car up to the resort cos the manager of the hotel told us it was better cos the snow car cleared the roads. so we went up the slope again and it went up this time! (: but it was after me, baby and his girlfriend got off the car. the car got stuck halfway up the slope and the 3 of us pushed the car. hahahaa. such a funny experience! lucky there was no other car around cos it was quite late.

so after we got the car up the first slope, we realised there was ANOTHER slope. hahahhaa. so we stayed outside to make the car lighter but the car just didn’t want to go up. so after a few rounds of trying, a kind old man passing by with his car decided to help us, he drove the car up the hill! they really have the skills. hahahhahaa. (:

so we trooped up to the resort, thanked the man, parked the car and went to rest. hahahhahaa. (: it was so funny!

1st jan 2010!

so it was snowing all through the night, and today was SKI day! :D

after breakfast, we went to rent all the ski gear! spent so long at the shop cos we couldn’t find the right sizes, from ski shoes to ski suits. zomg. so after an hour, we finally suited up and the ski suits are damn powerful, they keep us so warm! :D so the skis were quite hard to put on, and after that we headed off to the lift to bring us to the top of the beginner’s slope! zomg i was so scared cos the lift was ascending quite steeply, but baby was with me so after a while i got used to it. (: the scenery on the lift, and the talks we had were the best. (:

when i got off the lift, i fell and didn’t dare to move because i didn’t know how to control the skis, and i felt myself moving down everytime i tried to move cos it was a slope, and i was so freaking damn scared! i didn’t want to tumble down. i was screaming like some stuck cat and baby couldn’t get to me cos he didn’t know how! in the end, he did get to me and he helped me out to safety. zomg.

first time down the slope is the worst, we couldn’t control where we were going and i know he tried to stay with me but its hard to control the direction, so in trying to stay together, we fell umpteen times, but i was glad he was with me all the way. (: so when we finally made it down the first time, we decided to go a second time, and it got more and more fun as we got the hang og skiing. (: there was once i just crashed into him, cos i couldn’t stop in time and we fell in a heap. :/ hahahhaa.

2nd dec

and today we drove to see the onsen monkeys! we parked somewhere and trooped 1.6 km in the snow to see the monkeys. HAHAHAA. i enjoyed very much the walk with baby and climbing the mountain! :D the monkeys were so cute! and they’re really like humans, they cuddle their babies. and they soak in the onsen! so funny! :D but they really like the fight and growl at each other. hahaha. (:

then it got really cold, and we trooped back down the mountain to the car, and traveled to NAKANO! :D by the time we reached there, it was dark. it gets dark really early there, at around 5 plus. so then we walked around and everywhere was full so we dinnered at some drinking place. hahaha. all of us smelled of smoke! :/

3rd dec

back to tokyo and end of road trip! we stopped by KARUIZAWA for the outlet mall and then headed back to tokyo. hahaha had dinnered and the 4 of us chatted quite abit, its like you know, 5 days together and we haven really talked cos we were traveling. hahahaa. so we chilled around and headed back to our respective homes. (:

4th dec

we slept half the day away cos we were so tired from the traveling, and baby cooked breakfast! :D slept some more and woke up to go out for dinner! (: went to KAWASAKI and had this good ocha rice, where they pour tea into the rice and eat. then we had dessert, and baby finally got his shoes from uniqlo! :D

5th dec

i am sad. cos its the last day. we traveled to UENO and we reached there so early, no shops were open, so we chilled at macs. i super love the times we chill, just sit and talk to each other. :D :D would never trade these times for anything. (:

so we walked around the streets, played our favourite UFO  catchers and the medals game, and took loads of puri kuras! (:

6th dec

home for me, back to singapore. parting with baby at the train station was hard, but i put a smile on my face, because its also 1 day nearer to when he finally returns to singapore. (:

this whole trip has been the best time of my life, and i really appreciate the tons of effort that baby has put in to make this trip what it was. we did alot of things for the first time together, like ski, see snow, and spend 16 whole days with each other. i enjoyed every second of the trip, and the 16 days flew past so fast. i know for sure, i want many many many manyyyyyyy 16 days with you. (:

XMAS IS COMING! :D

and im very eggciting for this year’s xmas because I WILL BE IN JAPAN. zomg. theres 4 more days to count down before i fly off to japan! :D i can’t stop smiling when i think of that. hahahaha. (: well i haven seen baby in 84 days, which is 12 weeks and the wait is finally going to be over! though i still leave first to come back home cos school’s going to start. ahhahaa. but he’ll be back soon after! (:

thinking of that makes me smile too. i’ve been happy and perked up! (: the only thing holding me back is the WOUND. because i went cycling on saturday, then i felllll. and then the wound is taking very long to heal. mummy brought me to the doctor today cos she was sick and she wanted me to see the doc about the wound. so he gave me a whole load of stuff to clean and put on the wound, i’ve done everything im told to, and i hope it heals like a miracle pill, and i can jump and run and BEND properly. ):

and i want my red friend to come now. if not it’ll be so troublesome. hhahhaa oh wells, another thing to be happy about is! my mummy brought back such nice winter jackets for me that i’ve thought of the different combination of clothes im going to wear there! :D i just haven packed. hahahhhaa. (:

besides that, cousins (nieces actually) came over for stayover last night, and when they had to leave earlier today cos we were going to the doctors, the older cousin cried! zomg i was so heartpainnn. ): but im glad that its cos she enjoyed the whole day here and didn’t want to go back. ahahahha im happy for all these short stayovers, make me feel so close to them. (: its nice to be part of their growing up lives. hahahaha.

and boy am i glad i am with J. :D

on friday met up with feizhen, the day after she finally finished exams. hahaha. watched new moon! at tiong bahru plaza cos we didn’t want to go to those super popular places, the tickets would be snapped up so fast for this kinda popular movies that we might end up sitting in front. hahhaha. the show is cool but i would have loved much more edward. hahaha though i know the book is like far LESS edward but i was slightly bored in the middle. but the effects are just too good. (:

so we watched at tiong bah and then went to town! walked around abit searching for her friend’s bday present and i really want to get a pair of those nice laced up heels. been trying them all over and whenever i see a nice pair. hahahhaa but expensive so i shall WAIT. hahaha

today went to sentosa with tiffy! :D we wanted to TAN but the sun decided to hide and in the end we even got caught in a drizzle. hahahha. we just camwhored and talked and chilled at the kopitiam. hahahhaa. (:

I PASSED MY BTT. WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO! :D

and i’ve been busy reading about japan cos I AM GOING TO JAPAN. :D super the looking forward to it. going there for xmas and the new year! (: TOO EGGCITING and im counting down every dayyy! babyybabyyy. :D

and other than that, i started reading books on self improvement, like conversation skills, and saying the right things at the right time. interesting. (: and i am reading about READING people. hahahahaha wait till i become a pro at this, i would be able to tell whos lying! hahahhaa.

and i finally borrowed the book “the time traveller’s wife”. waited so long for that 1 copy to appear in the shelves of the cck library. zomgg. hahahhaa. (:

and my mum’s coming back! :D having my nieces over next week for a stayover! so eggciting. (:

i can so foresee the near future.

from the start of this sem i was optimistic, motivated from the previous sem that i too could achieve the results i wanted. though separated from my fellow muggers that have been together for a year, i was still optimistic that i could do well.

do you know the feeling of your hope disappearing day by day and everyday is beginning to feel more and more dreadful? and you try all ways to not have to come to school, and when you must, you drag yourself out of the door.

the projects nearly putting all of us at the brink of collapse and braindeadness, every project searching for direction till the very last moment, every project not something we’re proud or satisfied with, that we end not with a happy smile but with helplessness because the deadline is here.

and then everyone else seems to be able to do supersonic work mugging by themselves, everybody doing so well in the numerous quizzes and tests that my results though fairly well, paled to comparison.

i stand on my own, totally defeated yet i have to trudge on, because i cannot give up and make this end even worse than it already is. knowing that this is the last sprint and theres nothing else i can do, despair is the last on my list though its always at the back of my mind creeping slowly in.

the motivation i initially had has been corroded by the probable reality that i would never be as good. my efforts seem to be useless and i have to admit, im struggling. mentally, emotionally and physically.

in the near future, when that one click of the mouse reveals my efforts for the sem, i can only hope for a miracle.

i just need you to hold me and tell me everything will be okay.

i think the new movie 2012 was made to make everyone think, or just wonder for a second, im sure alot of us did, that what if the world really ended in 2012?

was talking to tiffany about this and she said she’ll commit suicide. hahaha. cos she spent 3 years in uni stressed up and when she finally graduates, the world is going to end. yeah i think its true. but what would we become then?

3 years ago, i was in j1. stepped into a new school all by myself. with no one i knew, with nobody from the same secondary school. it was me, myself and i. but i never regretted my choice. and i chose to stay in cj officially.

3 years ago, i found the friends that became closest to me, friends that i want to keep for life, friends that went through thick and thin with me. we quarrel we fight but we always forgive and forget.

3 years ago, i picked up a skill i never knew i would do, shooting.

3 years later, what would i be? what would i look like? would i still be with the same people i love and care for?
